Service vouchers
Do you need a hand with your housework? That's what service vouchers are for!
Service vouchers allow you to reliably entrust those irritating little domestic tasks to a helper with a work contract.
These helpers can:
- Clean your private residence (including your windows)
- Do your washing and ironing
- Carry out occasional sewing tasks
- Do your grocery shopping
- Prepare your meals
Rates
1 hour's work = 1 service voucher costing EUR 7.50 (minimum of 2 hours a week).
The purchase of service vouchers is subject to tax breaks. Monies paid out for the purchase of service vouchers are subject to a 30% tax deduction.
The fiscal limit for 2009 returns (income from 2008) is EUR 2400.
This means that one voucher actually costs you EUR 5.25.
On the 1st of April each year, Sodexo will send you a fiscal record to return with your income tax declaration. As of 2009 (returns for income earned in 2008), customers with a low income can also benefit from this scheme thanks to the refundable income credit scheme. You request your refund by attaching the fiscal record to your submitted income tax declaration. If you do not receive a tax return form, request one of your own accord from your local tax office.
